SAARC Training of Trainers (ToT) on Infection Control on
TB and HIV/AIDS
01-05 October 2018, Nepal
Dr. Rajendra Prasad Pant, Director, SAARC TB and HIV/AIDS Centre inaugurated the programme on 1 October 2018. Dr. Bhim Singh Tinkari, Director, National TB Centre graced the inaugural function.
Seventeen participants participated from seven SAARC Member States, namely, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Facilitators and Resource Persons of the training included TB, HIV Lab experts and Consultant Microbiologist and Infection control experts on Hospital based and general waste management, as well as working in different capacities in Government of Nepal facilitated in the programme.
