Review of the Tuberculosis program in Province no. 2 :
In Nepal, Tuberculosis is the sixth leading cause of death. According to TB annual report by NTC, Terai belt had more than half of TB cases (57%) in 2017. Tarai is also most populous province of Nepal. Therefore a systematic review of TB program was done by the technical team of STAC and findings and recommendations were discussed with the provincial government heads and key stakeholders. Political commitment and program planning were obtained to meet up the National as well as Global end TB goal by 2030.
